Lan Vera FAQ - vermeil, shipping and sizing

Vermeil is jewelry made from 925 sterling silver coated in 18k gold. At Lan Vera, each piece is plated to 5 microns, a premium standard well above standard gold plating. It gives you the glow of gold on a precious silver base.

Like any precious metal, vermeil can soften in shine over time if it is repeatedly exposed to water, perfume, or friction. Five-micron vermeil is more resilient than standard plating, but it still lasts best with thoughtful wear.

Remove your piece before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume and creams. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear, then store it separately in a soft pouch away from moisture.

We ship within France, across Europe, and internationally depending on the destinations available at checkout. If your country does not appear during payment, email us at hello@lanvera.fr and we will confirm the best option.

Delivery time depends on destination and on whether the piece is ready to ship. Once your order is prepared, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking. France and Europe are usually faster than international deliveries.

Measure the inner diameter of a ring you already wear, or measure the circumference of your finger. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one. Our rings are currently offered in EU sizes 48 to 60.

Yes. Our ear cuffs are designed to be worn without piercing. Slide them onto the thinnest part of the ear, then move them gently into place for a secure and comfortable fit.

Lan Vera pieces are designed in Paris and crafted in Vietnam with artisans we work with closely. That dialogue between the two places is part of the house signature.
